StrataRise Low-Profile 2442 Self-Levelling Pedestals will automatically compensate for slopes from 0° to 5° and are specially designed for use in areas where low threshold heights are encountered. The self-Levelling pedestals adjust from 24mm to 33mm (0.95" to 1.30") as standard, or from 33mm to 42mm (1.30" to 1.65") with the addition of the 9mm (3/8") height extender ring that is included with each pedestal. This can be inserted into the base plate if required.
Optimised for Professional Installation
This support is particularly suited for installations of decking and patio areas on sloping flat roofs as well as for general use on sloping surfaces both externally and internally. Each support is composed of a threaded self-Levelling head section, with 4 tabs either 2mm (5/64") or 4mm (5/32") in width for tile, slab or paver spacing. The spacer tabs are individually removable to enable the supports to be used in areas where no separation is required, such as under the centers of large slabs, or at edges.
An easy to operate threaded adjustment ring makes raising or lowering the head really quick and precise. Height adjustments can be made without removing the paver or tile thus allowing for extremely easy and fast installation. As standard, each Low-Level 2442 pedestal comes complete with one 9mm (0.35") extender ring (this can be fitted by lifting the head out of the base, inserting the ring and replacing the head).
Noise reduction options
The large 200mm (8”) base plate provides stable support on most surfaces. Scribe marks are provided on the underside to assist in trimming for use at sides and corners of installations. An optional anti-slip, cushioning, rubber base pad is available for use on membranes, etc. This effectively reduces transmitted noise where decks are mounted on balconies or roof areas, as well as for floors in multi-occupancy buildings.
We recommend the use of our optional acoustic cushioning rings for the support head area for tile and paver installations. These help to bed tile corners securely, prevent any rattling, and reduce transmitted noise through the support system.
2442LP self-Levelling pedestal supports are tested to withstand loads of 1430 lbs (650Kg) at their weakest setting, i.e. maximum height adjustment with just one thread engaged.
