The Low-Profile 2442 self-levelling pedestal, with auto adjustment for slopes from 0 to 5%, is a specially designed support for use on sloping areas where low threshold heights are required. Each support is composed of a threaded self-levelling head section, with a fixing flange with screw slot for attaching to the joist or beam. The head is wide enough to accept joists up to 75mm (3") wide and is suitable for all common heights. For wider joists we recommend placing alternate pedestals from opposite sides of the joist.
Optimised for Professional Installation
An easy to operate threaded adjustment ring makes raising or lowering the head really quick and precise. Height adjustments can be made without lifting or removing the joists thus allowing for extremely easy and fast installation. As standard each Low-Level 2442 pedestal comes complete with one 9mm (0.35") extender ring (this can be fitted by lifting the head out of the base, inserting the ring and replacing the head).
The large 200mm (8”) base plate provides stable support on most surfaces. Scribe marks are provided on the underside to assist in trimming for use at sides and corners of installations.
Noise reduction options
An optional anti-slip, cushioning, rubber base pad is available for use on membranes, etc. This effectively reduces transmitted noise where decks are mounted on balconies or roof areas, as well as for floors in multi-occupancy buildings.
2442LP pedestal supports are tested to withstand point loads of 1430lbs (650Kg) at their maximum height adjustment. The normal spacing apart for the 2442LP-SL-DF is at 18 to 24" centers along the support joists for most projects, potentially saving up to 50% on units required for many projects when compared with other systems.

Suitable for laying over membranes and insulating panels
Thanks to the large support area of the pedestal bases the system can be installed on top of waterproofing membranes, rigid insulating panels and onto any solid, compact laying surface.
The circular shape of the base adapts well to the course of the laying surface, even when this is not perfectly regular. The base incorporates holes for the outflow of water and two head-cut lines to be used when laying the supports at perimeter edges or corners.
Available in two versions, this versatile pedestal support can be used with any type of self-supporting tile or paver.
